Active employee calculation and Employee type filters
In this release, we have addressed a bug in the “Active Employee” calculation that affected the accurate determination of an employee's active status. The issue has been resolved, ensuring that the calculations now align with the intended criteria.
Pain Point:
Earlier, our portal showed the ex-employees added when the filter in the employee section was applied for active employees. To solve this, we have come up with an enhanced calculation where ex-employees will not be calculated with the active employees.
The conditions for considering an employee as Active are as follows:
Any employee who has been marked as NOT A PERSON will not be considered
Any employee who has been marked as OFFBOARDING COMPLETED will not be considered. This ensures that only employees who have not undergone the offboarding process are considered active.
Any employee marked as OFFBOARDING NEEDED and with an Exit date greater than the current date is considered an Active employee.
Employee type filter
a) Active employee filter:
The Active employees can now be filtered out using the "Employee type filter", where the calculations will be accurate based on the abovementioned conditions.
b) Ex-Employee filter:
Now, users can also filter for Ex-Employees so that they can view only the employees who have been marked as Offboarding completed / OK status and the Exit date is greater than today.
