Manage multiple business entities from a single, unified Trust Portal
What's new?
Previously, the Trust Portal displayed shared information for all your business entities. Now, with multi-entity support in Trust Vault, you can share and publish entity-specific content from a single, unified Trust Portal. Each business unit or geography can have its own dedicated content, such as unique frameworks, controls, sub-processors, FAQs and updates. Portal visitors can easily switch between different entities using a handy dropdown at the top corner of the page.
Why it matters
This feature helps in segregating Trust Portal content across different entities. It allows you to control visibility at the entity level, ensuring customers and stakeholders see only what’s relevant to them, all from one central Trust Portal webpage.
How it works
Navigate to Settings → Manage Entities to add new entities, assign names, and designate owners.
In the Trust Vault module, open Settings → Multi Entity, and toggle the feature on.
Select which entities to display and choose a default entity for your public trust portal. The default entity opens when visitors visit your trust portal.
Tag trust content, like frameworks, controls, sub-processors, FAQs, and updates to one or more entities. Tag content to org-wide to make it available across all entities.
Visitors can switch between entities using a dropdown, with access controls applied per entity.
When approving access requests, you’ll see which entity the requester is viewing.
You can also approve more entities and manage other document access configurations for each request.
