Introducing Risk ID in Risk Register

We are excited to announce a significant improvement to Scrut's Risk Register. Previously, each individual risk entry lacked an associated Risk ID, making it difficult to uniquely identify a risk.

Key Changes

  1. Enabling Risk ID: To enable Risk ID, navigate to the Configuration tab in Risk Settings. Risk ID is disabled by Default.

  1. User-Defined Prefix:

  • Once the Risk ID toggle is turned ON, users can assign a prefix for Risk ID, for e.g. RSK

  • The prefix, once set, cannot be changed.

  • The Risk ID prefix supports alpha-numeric characters, and the maximum allowed length is 6 characters.

  1. Table Display:

  • Risk ID will be the first column in the table.

  • Risk ID is automatically generated for all existing and new Risks.

  1. Search by Risk ID:

  • Users can now search for specific risks using the assigned Risk ID.

  1. Risk Details Page:

  • On the risk details page, Risk ID takes precedence at the top.

  • Risk Name is displayed along with other pertinent Risk Details.

These changes streamline the Risk Register, providing users with a more organized and consistent experience.

Note: When the Risk ID toggle button is in the 'off' position, there will be no alterations to the Risk Details page or the corresponding table layout.
