Introducing Risk ID in Risk Register
We are excited to announce a significant improvement to Scrut's Risk Register. Previously, each individual risk entry lacked an associated Risk ID, making it difficult to uniquely identify a risk.
Key Changes
Enabling Risk ID: To enable Risk ID, navigate to the Configuration tab in Risk Settings. Risk ID is disabled by Default.
User-Defined Prefix:
Once the Risk ID toggle is turned ON, users can assign a prefix for Risk ID, for e.g. RSK
The prefix, once set, cannot be changed.
The Risk ID prefix supports alpha-numeric characters, and the maximum allowed length is 6 characters.
Table Display:
Risk ID will be the first column in the table.
Risk ID is automatically generated for all existing and new Risks.
Search by Risk ID:
Users can now search for specific risks using the assigned Risk ID.
Risk Details Page:
On the risk details page, Risk ID takes precedence at the top.
Risk Name is displayed along with other pertinent Risk Details.
These changes streamline the Risk Register, providing users with a more organized and consistent experience.
Note: When the Risk ID toggle button is in the 'off' position, there will be no alterations to the Risk Details page or the corresponding table layout.
