What's new?

Third-party scan findings now include enriched metadata with CVSS scores, last scanned dates, complete treatment plans, and full lists of affected resources. This enhanced experience puts all critical vulnerability details in one place for faster triage and remediation.

Why was this needed?

Understanding and addressing vulnerabilities in third-party tools required toggling between multiple screens and external documentation. Critical details about affected resources and remediation guidance weren't readily available in context, slowing down response times. The enriched findings tab in Scrut provide complete context in one place, enabling faster prioritization and action without constant tool-switching.

How it works

• Navigate to Vulnerability Management -> Third Party Scans to access enhanced findings

• Review findings with complete vulnerability details, including:

  • CVSS Score for standardized severity measurement and risk prioritization

  • Last Scanned On date showing exactly when each vulnerability was detected

  • Complete Treatment Plan with detailed remediation strategy

  • Full Resources Affected list displaying every impacted asset

• Prioritize remediation based on standardized CVSS scoring

• Access embedded remediation guidance without switching tools

• Understand the full impact scope with complete asset lists
