Enhancements to the Risk Register: Created On and Last-Modified Dates
Our risk register currently lacks creation and last modification dates, hindering our ability to effectively manage risks. By incorporating these dates, we can easily filter newer risks and identify those needing reassessment, ensuring your risk management remains sharp and current.
Use Case
Efficient Prioritization: Including creation dates allows risk analysts to identify and prioritize newer risks swiftly. By filtering based on creation dates, analysts can focus their attention on assessing and mitigating the most recent risks, ensuring that emerging threats are promptly addressed.
Timely Reassessment: With the last modification date feature, analysts can easily pinpoint risks that haven't been evaluated or updated recently. This capability prompts timely reassessment, ensuring the risk management strategy remains agile and responsive to evolving threats.
How does it work?
Users can select from predefined date ranges or customize the date range, as shown in the screenshot below.
Additionally, users can navigate from the Risk Aging Graph to the risk register with a date range filter applied. This provides the exact list of risks that have not been recently modified.
Note: When the risk register is exported, the resulting CSV file will now include additional columns: Creation Date, Last Modified Date, and Control Code for the controls linked to the risk.
