Import your risk register faster with a simplified 3-step upload
What's new?
The risk import flow in Scrut is now simpler. Instead of downloading a CSV file, matching your risk register to the template, and uploading it again, you can now complete the import in three steps.
You upload your file, map the column headers to the right fields, review a preview of the data, and then save the import into the product.
Why was this needed?
The previous import process was slow and error-prone as it required downloading a CSV template, reformatting your risk register to match it exactly, and re-uploading the file. The new workflow meets you where your data already is, reducing setup time and giving you confidence that your data is mapped and imported correctly before it goes live.
How it works
Navigate to Risk -> Risk Management and click Add Risk -> Import via CSV/XLSX.
Add the file you want to upload.
Click Next to enter the column mapping step — match your file's column headers to Scrut's required and optional fields.
Click Confirm Mapping to preview your imported data.
Go back to adjust mappings if needed.
If any rows contain errors, they will be highlighted in the preview. Download the error report to identify and fix issues.
Click Save to complete the import. Your risk register will be imported into Scrut.
