Configure Scrut Monitors to automatically fetch Freshservice tickets as compliance evidence

What's new?

The Freshservice integration now supports configuring a Scrut Monitor to automatically fetch Freshservice ticket data directly into Scrut. You can filter tickets using specific tags and export the results as a consolidated CSV evidence report. Each ticket record includes key metadata: subject, category, requester ID, responder ID, priority, status, and timestamps.

Why was this needed?

Ticket data from service management tools such as Freshservice is frequently required as evidence during audits and compliance reviews. Without a direct integration, teams had to manually pull ticket records from Freshservice and reformat them for submission. The Scrut Monitor integration brings this data into your compliance workflow automatically, making it easier to track ticket activity over time and produce audit-ready evidence exports without leaving Scrut.

How it works

  • Connect your Freshservice account via the Scrut integrations settings.

  • Navigate to Scrut Monitor and select Freshservice as the integration source.

  • Apply tag-based filters to scope the tickets relevant to your compliance or audit requirement.

  • Review the fetched ticket records, which include subject, category, requester ID, responder ID, priority, status, and timestamps.

  • Export the filtered ticket data as a CSV to use as consolidated evidence in your audit or compliance workflow.

  • For step-by-step instructions, refer to the Freshservice integration guide.
