Deleted comments are now captured in audit logs
What's new?
Scrut now creates an audit log entry whenever a comment is deleted across modules, including tests, policies, evidence, cloud tests, vendor questionnaires, mitigation work, risk, and vulnerability findings.
Why was this needed?
Previously, comment deletion wasn't captured in audit logs. As a result, it was difficult to explain who changed what during a regulator or customer review. With deletion events now logged, you retain a complete story even when someone removes a thread, and module owners and compliance reviewers have clear accountability.
How it works
Add and manage comments as you do today.
Open the Audit Log tab within that object to view a full history of activity, including any comment deletion events.
