Archive Access Reviews while maintaining full audit traceability
What’s new?
You can now archive access reviews—whether Active, Overdue, or Completed—to reduce clutter while preserving full audit traceability. Archived reviews are still accessible in read-only mode, and all actions are logged for compliance purposes.
Why it matters
With this enhancement, you can keep your Access Review dashboard clean and focused, archive reviews that are no longer relevant due to organizational or compliance changes, and retain full traceability for audits with detailed logs.
How it works
When you're ready to archive a review, you can do so from any status—Active, Overdue, or Completed. Only Draft reviews are excluded to avoid premature archival of unfinished work.
For reviews that are still Active or have become Overdue, you'll be asked to provide a reason before proceeding. This adds necessary context and maintains accountability.
If you're archiving a Completed review, adding a reason is optional, giving you flexibility for reviews that are already finalized.
Before the action is finalized, a confirmation modal will appear, clearly warning that archived reviews cannot be restored. This helps avoid accidental archival.
Once archived, the review is moved to a dedicated Archived tab, where it remains fully accessible in read-only mode for future reference or audits.
Audit log records who archived what, when, and why.
