Archiving for Evidence Attachments

We're excited to announce a new feature in this release - Archiving for Evidence Attachments. This feature comes in response to the numerous evidence attachments that can accumulate over time, some of which may not even remain relevant. With this feature, you can now archive these attachments directly from the evidence tasks, decluttering your workspace. The best part? You can manage the archiving, unarchiving, and deletion processes in bulk from settings, saving you valuable time and effort.

Use Cases

Decluttering Evidence Tasks: Users can utilize the archiving feature to declutter their workspace by removing evidence attachments that are no longer relevant or needed for ongoing tasks or projects.

Compliance and Audit Preparedness: Archiving evidence attachments can assist organizations in maintaining compliance with data retention policies and preparing for audits by keeping a record of archived materials.

How does it work?

Users will see an 'archive' option for evidence attachments when they visit any evidence task detail page. Archiving removes the attachment from the task, but it can be restored if needed.

To restore archived evidence attachments, navigate to 'Manage Evidence Attachments' within the 'Settings' menu.

If the status of an evidence attachment is marked as 'Active', then the attachment is not archived.

Users can select the evidence tasks and perform the desired actions.

When users unarchive specific attachments, the corresponding evidence tasks will reflect the changes.

Note: Once evidence attachments are deleted, they cannot be retrieved.
