Asana Integration

What is this feature?

We are excited to announce a new integration feature that enhances your task management efficiency within the Scrut platform. With the Asana integration, you can now seamlessly raise tickets and manage compliance-related tasks right from the Actions button available in the Policy, Test, Evidence task, and Risk Management modules.

How does it work?

  1. Navigate to 'Settings', go to 'Integrations', then go to 'Asana', and click on “Integrate”.

  1. Click on "Connect".

  1. Log in to Asana using the Asana credential or SSO.

  1. Click on "Allow" to grant permission.

  1. Once the authorization is completed, Asana will be successfully integrated with the Scrut platform.

  1. To configure additional fields for the Asana integration, simply click the "Configure Fields" button located in the top right corner inside the three dots.

  1. You will get a pop-up box where you can configure fields. Simply switch on the fields you need, and then click "Save”.

Creating an Asana Issue from Scrut:

  1. The user can create Asana tasks from modules such as Evidence Task, Policy, Tests, and Risk Management by clicking on the three dots located on the right side.

  1. In the dropdown menu that appears, click on "Create Asana Task.” A modal window will pop up, allowing you to enter the required details to create an issue.

  1. Once the task is successfully created, a banner will pop up stating that the Asana task was created successfully. Also, a comment will be added along with the audit log message.
