Audit Log Enhancements in Vendor Management Module

We’ve made several updates to the audit logging system in the Vendor Management module to address gaps, correct inaccuracies, and improve visibility across key workflows.

Why have we made these enhancements?

Audit logs are essential for ensuring accountability and providing a clear record of actions taken within the Vendor Management module. By fixing inaccuracies and expanding coverage, we’ve improved the reliability and usability of the audit log system for admins.

What’s new?

  1. Vendor-level audit logs

    • Fixed grammar and structure issues for vendor-level logs.

    • Removed questionnaire-related audit logs that were incorrectly placed at the vendor level.

    • Why does it matter? Ensures accurate and meaningful logging for vendor-level activities, reducing confusion and improving usability.

  1. Questionnaire-level audit logs

  • Added missing questionnaire-level audit logs, eg. accept/flag question audit log.

  • Removed these logs from vendor-level entries to maintain logical categorization.

  • Why does it matter? It provides detailed tracking for questionnaire-related actions, offering better insights into this critical workflow.

  1. Mitigation task audit logs

  • Fixed grammar and structure issues for mitigation task audit logs.

  • Removed mitigation task-related logs from vendor-level entries.

  • Why does it matter? Improves clarity and ensures mitigation tasks are logged in their appropriate context.

  1. Vendor settings audit logs

  • Added new audit logs to track changes to vendor settings.

  • Why does it matter? Admins can monitor configuration changes for improved oversight and accountability.

  1. Template audit logs

  • Introduced new audit logs for template-level actions.

  • Why does it matter? Offers transparency into template creation, editing, and usage for better governance.
