Audit Log in Trust Vault
What is this feature?
The “Audit Log” feature in the “Trust Vault” stores private information such as user name, file name, date, and time when the file was viewed. A user can request private access to view the private files.
Steps to understand how the Audit Log functions:
Click on 'Request Private Access' to view private documents in the “Trust Vault.”
Fill out the form containing “Personal and Organization” information. Read the “Terms of Service” and “Privacy Policy” and check both boxes. Click on 'Request Access.'
Only admins can allow or deny access for the requested user. The admin can click on the 'Green Tick', verify the details of the user, and click on 'Approve' to allow access. The user will not be able to view the records without the admin's approval.
After being approved by the admin, the user can view the Trust Vault with complete access. The “Request Private Access” button will no longer be visible.
The user can select files inside the module to download them.
The audit log records and stores the information of the files or documents in the modules accessed by the user.
If you have any questions or issues, please reach out to your assigned customer relationship manager. They'll be happy to assist you!
