What is this feature?

In this release, we're introducing significant enhancements to the creation of Audit projects on our platform. Users now have the flexibility to create audits based on controls or control domains, enabling more granular and tailored audit projects. This feature streamlines the audit creation process, allowing users to align their projects with specific control requirements more efficiently.

Use case/Pain point solved:

At times, during audits, users want to conduct audits based on specific controls or control domains. To solve this, we have introduced an enhancement: users can now create Audit projects based on Controls or Control Domains.

How does it work?

  1. When creating a new Audit project, users now have two options:

  • Create an audit by Framework (existing flow),

  • Create an audit by control.

  1. Select Create an audit by control to create by controls or control domain.

  2. Enter all the details for that specific audit and click on "Select Controls".

  1. Select the controls by which you want to create the audit, or you can select the control domain dropdown and select the specific domain by which you want to create an audit.

  1. Once the controls are selected, click on Create Audit.

  2. The selected controls are automatically linked to the audit when creating an audit for specific controls.

  3. Users now also have the flexibility to unlink or link controls to a specific audit based on their preferences and project requirements. This allows for dynamic adjustments to audit scopes and focus areas.

  4. To unlink the controls from the existing audit, click on "Unlink," which will open a modal window. Click on "Unlink" again.

  1. To add more controls, click on the '+' icon and select the controls.

  1. Users can also select all controls at once by enabling the 'All Controls' check mark and sorting it.
