Auto-notify customers and stakeholders about your Trust Portal updates

What's new?

Your Trust Portal visitors can now subscribe to updates and receive email notifications when you publish an update and choose to notify subscribers. You can also manage subscribers from your Trust Vault settings, manually add subscribers, control whether confirmation is required, and decide which updates should send notifications.

Why was this needed?

Until now, customers had to manually check your Trust Portal for updates, making it easy to miss important compliance or security changes. With subscriptions, your customers stay informed automatically, and you stay in control of what gets communicated and to whom.

How it works

• Navigate to Trust Vault, go to Settings, and enable Trust Portal Subscription under Additional Settings. Click Save.

• Viewers will now see a Subscribe to Updates option on the Trust Portal overview and in the Updates section.

  • Viewers enter their email address to subscribe and confirm via a verification email. Once confirmed, they will receive email notifications for updates you choose to share.

  • To unsubscribe, viewers can click the unsubscribe link in any notification email or use the Unsubscribe option on the trust portal.

• As an admin, go to Trust Vault -> Subscribers and click Add Subscriber to manually add subscribers.

  • Use Skip Confirmation Email to verify a subscriber immediately without requiring them to confirm.

  • Subscribers with a Verified status will receive update notifications.

  • Subscribers with Pending status will not receive updates until they confirm their email address.

• When adding or editing an update in the trust portal overview, enable the Notify Subscribers option before saving to send a notification email to all verified subscribers.

Note: Subscriber limits vary by plan: Foundation (50 subscribers), Growth (200 subscribers) and Scale (1,000 subscribers).
