What is this feature?

We’re excited to announce the integration of Azure DevOps with the Scrut platform, empowering users to raise issues and manage IT-related work items seamlessly. With this latest release, users can efficiently use the 'Actions' button available in Policy, Test, Evidence tasks, and Risk Management to raise work items such as tasks, issues, bugs, and epics.

How does it work?

  1. Navigate to 'Settings', go to 'Integrations', then go to 'Project Management Platforms' and 'Azure DevOps' and click “Integrate”.

  1. Click on "Connect".

  1. Log in to "Azure DevOps" by using the Azure DevOps credential or using SSO.

  1. Click on "Accept".

  1. Once the authorization is completed, Azure DevOps will be successfully integrated with the Scrut platform.

  1. To configure additional fields for the Azure DevOps integration, click the "Configure Additional Fields" button located at the top right corner, inside the three dots.

  1. You will get a pop-up box where you can configure fields. Simply switch on the fields you need, and then click "Save”.

Creating an Azure DevOps Issue from Scrut

  1. Users can create Azure DevOps work items from the modules such as Evidence Task, Policy, Tests, and Risk Management by clicking on the three dots located on the right side.

  2. In the dropdown menu that appears, click on "Create Azure Task” and a modal will pop up to enter the required details to create an issue.
