Bug fix: Backdated evidence uploads won’t disrupt status or review dates
What changed?
We fixed an issue where uploading old (past-year) evidence mistakenly changed the task status to “Uploaded” and updated the review date—causing confusion in tracking and planning.
Why does it matter?
This bug made it difficult to manage evidence correctly for the current year. It also led to a wrong compliance status and affected how review cycles were calculated. With this fix, your evidence tasks will behave as expected—no more mix-ups from backdated uploads.
How it works now:
If the 'Evidence Approval' workflow is "Off": Uploading old (backdated) evidence will not change the task status—it will stay as "Not Uploaded." The next review date will also not be set.
If the 'Evidence Approval' workflow is "On": Uploading past-year evidence won’t change the status or review date. If evidence for the current year is already added, the task status will change to Draft (as expected), but the review date won’t be affected.
