We are excited to announce the successful integration of Certn's Background Verification App into Scrut. This integration is a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to streamline and simplify the process of managing background checks within one unified platform.

Why this Integration?

Many organizational policies mandate comprehensive background checks for employees. However, using different tools for this purpose often results in a fragmented and time-consuming task for administrators. With the integration of Certn into Scrut, we aim to make the collection of background check evidence more accessible and efficient within a singular platform.

Scrut now features a seamless integration with Certn, allowing users to streamline their background verification processes.

Getting Started

  1. Navigate to the "Integrations" section within Settings.

  2. Discover a new addition: 'Background Check'.

  3. Click on 'Integrate'.

Upon clicking 'Integrate', you'll be directed to a page where you can input the API token generated by Certn. Submitting the correct API token will successfully complete the integration process.

Accessing Results

The background check results for each employee are conveniently available alongside their employee records within Scrut. Here's how to view the status and details:

  1. From the Employee Record table, select the 'Employee Name'.

  2. Once you are on the "Employee Record" Page, head to the 'Onboarding' tab.

Within this section, you'll find the employee's Rating, Score, and Status. Once the background check is finalized, the comprehensive report will be accessible.

Report Details:

The report encompasses Education Verification, Background Screening, and Employment Verification results. Each field's status will be clearly displayed for easy reference.

This integration aims to simplify the process of gathering, managing, and accessing background check reports, all within the Scrut platform.
