Checkr Integration: Sync Employee BGV Data to Scrut

We are excited to announce the enhanced integration of the CHECKR app within our platform. This integration will allow us to monitor the status of background checks in real-time, thereby improving our compliance processes and overall risk management.

By integrating Background Verification Apps with our GRC platform, we aim to achieve the following:

  1. Enhanced Compliance: Streamline compliance workflows by providing visibility into the background verification status directly within the GRC platform, reducing the risk of oversight.

  2. Improved Risk Management: Enable proactive identification and management of potential compliance risks related to employee background checks.

  3. Centralized Information: Consolidate background check data within the GRC platform, simplifying data management and retrieval for compliance audits and reporting.

How does it work?

  1. Navigate to Integrations from Settings. Scroll down to the Background Check section and notice the “Checkr” App Integration Card.

  1. When you click on "Integrate" you will be taken to a page where you can paste the API key generated from the Checkr Platform. Here are the steps to generate an API key from Checkr.

  1. The status of background verification will be shown on the employee's detail page. Navigate to the employee record from the 'Employees Table' in the 'People Module'. The integrated apps will appear under the 'Background Checks' section in the 'Employee Ongoing Task' checklist.

SCRUT retrieves background check results from Checkr using the employee's official email ID. If the background verification was initiated with the employee’s personal email ID, the results cannot be fetched from Checkr.
