Creating Corrective Action from Audit Finding
We are excited to introduce a powerful enhancement to Scrut with the latest update – the ability to seamlessly create Corrective Actions directly from audit findings. In response to user feedback, we have addressed a key limitation in the previous version, where Scrut lacked the capability to initiate corrective actions from identified audit findings during the auditing process.
Users can now link Audit Findings to Corrective Actions within the Audit Centre, establishing a cohesive connection between the two modules.
How does it work?
To initiate the corrective action process, follow these steps:
Navigate to the "Audit Center" and create a new audit.
Once in the audit, go to the "Findings" tab dedicated to that specific audit.
Create a new finding relevant to your audit.
You can easily create a corrective action associated with the newly added finding from the Actions menu, which is represented by three dots in the Finding table.
Alternatively,
Access the finding details page directly.
Within the finding details, initiate the corrective action creation process seamlessly.
Note: In order to close a finding, all associated corrective actions must be closed first.
In the Corrective Action module, two new columns are introduced in the Corrective Action Tracker: Source Name and Source Type.
Source Name: Links directly to the associated audit.
Accessing the corrective action details page provides additional information, including the Source Name, offering a quick reference to the related audit.
