Customize the default VSA template to create tailored vendor questionnaires

What's new?

Scrut now offers a default, out-of-the-box Vendor Security Questionnaire (VSA) template that you can customize and send to your vendors.

Why does it matter

Previously, users could use the VSA template, but couldn't view or customize the questions in it. With this new enhancement, you can customize the default VSA template to create tailored questionnaires that meet your organization's security and vendor assessment needs.

How it works

• Navigate to Vendor Settings → Templates to view and edit the VSA template labeled as "Default".

  

• Edit the template name and customize questions by adding, editing, or removing them as needed.

  

• Use your updated VSA template when creating new questionnaires (the "Default" label will appear in the dropdown).
