Downloadable NDAs: Streamline NDA Management in Trust Vault

We're excited to announce a new feature in Trust Vault that empowers our customers to download Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) signed by users granted Trust Vault access. This update addresses a key pain point and streamlines NDA management for your organization.

Pain point solved

Previously, when a Trust Vault user signed an NDA to access Trust Vault, the agreement wasn't readily available for download by our customers. This created challenges when users requested a copy of the signed NDA at a later date.

How does this feature solve the problem?

We've introduced a 'Download NDA' option within the 'Trust Vault', allowing our customers to easily download signed NDAs in PDF format. This functionality caters to three distinct scenarios:

  • Clickwrap: When a user signs an NDA via Clickwrap, the system allows you to download the agreement with placeholders(e.g. {firstName}) replaced by the user's actual details.

  • Signed Outside Scrut: If a user signs an NDA outside of Scrut, you can now upload the signed document and offer a downloadable copy.

  • No NDA: In cases where an NDA isn't required, the system acknowledges this and doesn't display a download option.

How does it work?

A) Sign NDA Workflow

  1. An email containing an access link is sent upon granting Trust Vault access to a user.

  1. Clicking the link directs the user to Trust Vault, where they'll encounter the NDA for signing.

  1. Once the user accepts the agreement, the system captures and stores the following details for future reference:

  • User Information (Name, Address, etc.)

  • Company Information (Name, Address, Type, etc.)

  • Date and Time of Signing

B) Download NDA Workflow

  1. Navigate to the 'All Accounts' table within Trust Vault.

  1. In the user's account details, under 'Access Management', you'll find a new 'Download NDA' link (available only if applicable).

  2. Clicking the link downloads the signed NDA in PDF format.
