Due Dates for Vendor Mitigation Tasks
What is this feature?
This update introduces due dates for mitigation tasks, providing users with greater control and clarity over the urgency of these tasks.
Use case/Pain point solved
Previously, mitigation tasks lacked a clear sense of urgency. This update addresses that by allowing users to assign due dates, fostering:
Improved Prioritization: Prioritize mitigation tasks based on deadlines, promptly addressing critical issues.
Enhanced Accountability: Increase accountability for resolving mitigation tasks within established timeframes.
Clearer Visibility: Gain a clearer understanding of upcoming deadlines and task completion timelines.
How does it work?
Assigning Due Dates: When creating or editing a mitigation task, you can now specify a due date using a user-friendly calendar interface.
Mitigation Task Statuses:
Not Due: Tasks with a due date set for a future date (beyond today).
Overdue: Tasks with a due date that has already passed (today or earlier).
Closed: Tasks that have been marked as completed.
Note: Upon release, all existing mitigation tasks will be automatically assigned an empty due date. Currently, the platform lacks the ability to edit the due date, but it will be handled in future releases.
