Duplicate Control Code

We are pleased to announce a bug fix in our latest release that addresses an issue within the Control module under Framework.

This bug fix ensures that the unique aspect of the control code field is maintained, preventing users from assigning control codes that are already in use when editing an existing control.

Bug Fix Details

Module: Navigate to "Framework", then go to "Control".

Issue Description: In our previous version, when users edited an existing control, they were able to assign control codes that were already in use by another control. This unintentional behavior compromised the uniqueness of the control code field, potentially leading to confusion and data integrity issues.

Resolution: In this release, we have implemented a fix that enforces the unique aspect of control codes. Now, when users edit an existing control, the system will prevent them from assigning a control code that is already assigned to another control. This enhancement ensures data consistency and eliminates the risk of code duplication.
