Easier navigation, notifications, and support in the enhanced Scrut Agent
What’s new?
We’ve introduced several enhancements to the Scrut Agent interface to make it more user-friendly, transparent, and efficient.
Profile details: You can now view your name and login email in the top-right corner of the agent window.
Device details: A new Device Details button shows key information like Computer Name, Serial Number, OS Version.
Notification history: A Notification icon gives you access to your notification history, including last-sync timestamps, new sign-in alerts, and unexpected logout events.
Updates: A Check for Updates button lets you manually prompt the agent to download and install the latest version.
Report issues: The new Report an Issue feature allows you to select a predefined issue type (e.g., login, sync), add custom comments or feedback, and notify Scrut support directly with one click.
Auth0 compatibility: The Scrut Agent is also now fully compatible with Auth0 authentication.
Why does it matter?
These updates are designed to improve usability, transparency, and support—so users can access key information faster, troubleshoot with ease, and stay updated without relying on manual processes.
How it works:
Go to the Scrut Agent section in the platform.
View status indicators (active/inactive) for all devices in real time.
Use the new OS filter to sort agents by operating system — helpful for targeting specific device types.
Export the list as needed for documentation or follow-up.
