What’s new?

Control descriptions are now displayed consistently next to control names across all major tables and modals. Plus, you can now search for controls using description keywords, making it easier to find the right control, even when names are similar.

Why it matters

This update makes it easier to find controls using keywords in their descriptions quickly, always see the full context of a control (not just its name), and spend less time assigning the right controls.

How it works

Control descriptions are now visible in:

  1. Tables:

    • Frameworks → Linked Controls

    • Risk Management → Risk Detail Page → Controls

    • Risk Management → Risk Register → Mitigation Task Detail Page → Controls

    • Audit Center → Audit Detail Page → Controls

    • Audit Center → Requests → Request Detail Page → Controls

    • Audit Center → Findings → Finding Detail Page → Controls

  2. Modals

    • Tests → Test Detail Page → Controls

    • Policies → Policy Detail Page → Controls → Link Controls

    • Evidence Tasks → Evidence Detail Page → Controls → Link Controls

    • Risk Management → Risk Detail Page → Link Controls

    • Risk Management → Mitigation Task Page → Link Controls

    • Audit Center → Audit Detail Page → Edit Controls

    • Audit Center → Request Detail Page → Link Controls

    • Audit Center → Finding Detail Page → Link Controls

    • Corrective Action → Corrective Action Detail Page → Controls → Link Controls

Search by description

You can now search for controls using keywords from their descriptions across all of the above tables and modals, making it easier to find controls even when names aren’t memorable or are too similar.
