Effortlessly Import Vulnerability from External Reports

DATE:
AUTHOR: The folks at Scrut

What changed?

You can now import external vulnerability reports directly into Scrut’s Vulnerability Management module. Whether the report comes from your in-house VAPT team or a third-party vendor, this update allows you to centralize and manage all vulnerabilities in one place.

Why does it matter?

Teams previously had to juggle spreadsheets, emails, or disconnected tools to manage vulnerabilities. With this update, you can track all vulnerabilities — from internal or external sources — within a single, structured workflow for faster resolution and better risk oversight.

How it works:

  • Go to the Vulnerability Management module and click “Import Vulnerabilities.”

  • Download the provided template to ensure correct formatting.

  • Upload your populated CSV, XLSX, or Markdown file (up to 100 MB).

  • Scrut auto-validates your file. Valid entries are imported or updated. Any issues are flagged with clear error messages.

  • Use existing tools like Jira and Asana integrations to assign and manage remediation efforts.
