Email Notification and Audit log for On-Demand Scan Test Findings

Users can now get real-time feedback on the current state of test findings through email and Slack notifications when the 'Test Now' button is triggered in the test findings.

How does it work?

  1. Navigate to the Scrut platform. Go to "Test" and select any test finding that you want to run the test.

  2. Click on the 'Test Now' button.

  1. Once the Test Now process is completed, an email will be triggered stating which service has the updates and the cloud provider’s name.

  1. Users will also get notified through Slack, stating which service has the updates and the cloud provider’s name.

  1. Click on the 'View Details' button in the email. You will be redirected to the Audit Log section in the Test module, where the user can see On-Demand Scan Test Finding and open the drop down and the status change of the specific test and its account ID.

  1. Users can enable the toggle button in Settings → Notifications → Email Notification For On demand Scan if they wish to get on-demand scan summary email notifications.

  2. Email notifications will be triggered to the assignee of that specific test and the person who clicks on 'Test Now'.
