Enhanced Handling of same MDM Tools Installed on User Devices

In our latest release, we have further enhanced our previous improvement. While the previous release addressed the issue for Scrut Agent and MS Intune, this release extends the solution to encompass all MDM tools, ensuring a comprehensive resolution. Users who install the same Mobile Device Management (MDM) tool on multiple devices previously encountered limitations in viewing technical details. The system would display data for only one device, overwriting it instead of appending it. We are pleased to announce that this issue has been successfully resolved for all MDM tools.

Solution

To comprehensively address this issue for all MDM tools, we have implemented a solution in this release. If a user has several devices using the same MDM tool, we won't replace the information about one device with another anymore. Instead, we'll present all the device details in a clear list. This change ensures that you can effortlessly see and access information about each of your devices without any of it getting lost or replaced by another device's data. It's all about making it easier for users to view and manage their device details.

How Does It Work?

With this enhancement, if a user has installed any MDM tool on multiple devices, the technical details will be displayed as an array, providing a comprehensive view of information for each device. This fix ensures a consistent and accurate representation of user device data, improving the user experience across all MDM tools.

We believe that this bug fix will significantly enhance the user experience with the scrut Automation platform by ensuring that users have complete and accurate technical details for all devices, regardless of the MDM tool employed.

Going forward, users will be able to see all the discovered devices without any data overwriting issues, ensuring a seamless experience across all MDM tools.
