Enhancements in Vendor Intake Form

We've made significant updates to the vendor intake form workflow in the Vendor Management module to improve usability, transparency, and efficiency.

Why did we make these enhancements?

The vendor intake process is critical to streamlining vendor onboarding and ensuring compliance. These enhancements focus on reducing friction for employees, empowering admins with better visibility and controls, and ensuring a smoother overall experience.

What’s new?

1. Auto-save answers

• Employees no longer need to worry about losing progress while filling out the intake form. Answers are now auto-saved as they complete the form.

• Why does it matter: Enhances productivity by preventing accidental data loss and reducing the need to re-enter information.

2. Audit logs for intake forms

• Added audit logs to track all actions taken during the intake form workflow, including submission, approvals, and changes.

• Why it matters: Provides transparency and accountability for every step in the vendor onboarding process.

3. Email notifications for admins

• Admins will now receive email notifications whenever an employee submits a vendor onboarding request.

• Why it matters: Improves admin visibility by ensuring they are promptly informed of new requests, enabling faster processing.

4. Export intake form data as CSV

• Admins can now export intake form questions and answers in CSV format with a single click.

• Why does it matter: Simplifies data management and allows admins to analyze or share intake form responses more easily.

5. UI/UX improvements

• Redesigned the intake form workflow for a more intuitive and visually appealing experience.

• Why it matters: Enhances usability, reduces cognitive load, and ensures a smoother experience for employees and admins alike.
