Fixes and enhancements for a smoother and more dependable policy editing experience
What's new?
Scrut has updated the policy editor to address the following issues:
Revision history is now more stable, with fewer cases of missing or inconsistent version entries.
Policy import and export are now faster. We've also added support for PDF imports and fixed an issue where tables were cut off in exported documents.
Pasting policy variables now shows readable values rather than raw identifiers.
Why was this needed?
Inconsistent revision history made it harder to track edits during review cycles, and in some cases, prevented access to policy attachments in the Versions tab. Export issues, like truncated tables, caused auditors and other stakeholders to miss critical info while reviewing policies. These updates reduce the risk of losing track of edits, produce cleaner exports, and make the overall editing experience more dependable for everyone working in the policy editor.
How it works
Go to Compliance -> Policies and open any policy in the inline editor. Use the editor as you normally would.
