What's new?

Vendor risk management has been redesigned to provide consistent actions, clear risk sources, and unified tracking across Scrut. You can now view, ignore, address, or create mitigation tasks from both the Vendor Risk tab and the Questionnaire details page, with automatic risk detection from questionnaire attachments.

Why was this needed?

Managing vendor risks across different parts of the platform created inconsistency and made it harder to maintain a complete picture of your third-party risk posture. By unifying vendor risk actions, clearly showing risk origins, and making the Vendor Risk tab the single source of truth, you can now trust that you're seeing all risks and can act on them consistently—whether they come from questionnaires, specific questions, or attachments.

How it works

• Access vendor risks from either the Vendor Risk tab or the Questionnaire details page, with consistent actions available in both locations

• View clear risk sources showing whether each risk originated from a questionnaire, specific question, or attachment

• Click on any risk to navigate directly to its source for full context

• Create mitigation tasks directly from risks with consistent visibility and status tracking

• Review risks automatically identified from questionnaire attachments alongside all other vendor risks

• Track all questionnaire-identified risks in the Vendor Risk tab as your single source of truth
