Improved email notifications: No more broken pages when linked sources are deleted
What's new?
Building on previous releases, this enhancement extends consistent redirection behavior to all modules. Now, when you click an email notification link for a resource that has been deleted or is inaccessible, you will be seamlessly redirected to a "Resource Not Found" page instead of a broken link.
Why it matters
This feature ensures clarity and improves the overall navigation experience by preventing broken links across all modules. You'll no longer encounter frustrating "broken pages" when clicking on links to resources that are no longer available.
How it works
The user receives an email from Scrut and clicks on the CTA button within the email.
Scrut checks if the resource exists. If the resource is deleted or inaccessible, the user will now see a clear “Resource Not Found” page.
From this page, the user can click “Go Back” to return to the relevant module.
