Improved navigation for deleted risk source links
What's new?
We’ve introduced a fallback mechanism on the Risk Detail page to handle cases where the original linked source (such as a Test, Audit Finding, or Cloud configuration) has been deleted. Now, instead of a blank or broken screen, the platform will display a clear message (“Resource Not Found") along with a "Go Back" button.
Why it matters
Previously, accessing a risk with a deleted source could lead to a blank or broken page, causing confusion. This fix ensures a consistent and stable experience, eliminating dead ends and reassuring you that the platform is working as expected.
How it works
Navigate to the Risk Management module and click on any risk from the list to open the Risk Detail page.
This page shows all metadata associated with the risk, including the linked source. Click the hyperlinked source.
If the source exists: Scrut navigates to the relevant detail page of the source.
If the source has been deleted: Scrut detects the missing source and redirects the user to a fallback screen displaying the message.
