Improved Slack Notifications and Digest Summaries for Enhanced Engagement

We’ve enhanced our Slack integration to deliver more actionable notifications and digest summaries, helping you stay updated and manage tasks efficiently.

Key updates:

• Personal task reminders: Receive reminders for overdue, due soon, and pending approval tasks directly in Slack.

• Scrut Digest summary: Admins can now configure digest summaries for module activities, select specific modules, and customize the frequency (daily or weekly). Each digest provides a summary of the activity, including:

  • Overdue tasks

  • Tasks due soon

  • Risks requiring action

• Hyperlinked items: Notifications and digests now include hyperlinks to redirect you directly to the specific task, vendor control, or policy page on the Scrut platform.

• Improved filtering and ordering: Notifications for risks, vendor management, and audit center now display only relevant statuses, prioritized by urgency:

  • Risks: Overdue tasks, due soon, and pending approvals.

  • Vendor management: Overdue tasks, vendors needing reassessment, and tasks requiring immediate action.

  • Audit center: Open audit findings and requests, followed by items needing revision or review.

Technical improvements:

• Specific role-based context: Assignees display only the primary assignee, while approvers show the current approver in multi-approver workflows.

Ongoing improvements:

We’ve laid the foundation for the Scrut Digest and will continue adding more modules and notifications in upcoming updates. This release ensures that important updates reach you efficiently, reducing task delays and improving collaboration.
