In-line Policy Editor Improvements

Overview

You now get a much more simplified and user-friendly experience while creating policies using the in-line editor. We've introduced several enhancements to paragraph formatting, export functionality, and comment handling in the CK Editor.

Paragraph formatting improvements

  • Previously, users had two options to highlight text within the inline editor. Now, there is only one way to highlight content.

  • Deprecated: The "Select All" action from the inline editor toolbar has been removed.

Comment handling fixes

  • Previously, comments added in the inline editor were not saved until the policy was saved. This behavior has been corrected—comments are now saved independently of policy saving.

  • The "Scroll to save the comment" action has been removed to streamline the commenting process.

Export enhancements

  • To prevent formatting issues when exporting policies, the inline editor's size is now restricted to A4 dimensions. This ensures a better user experience, allowing users to see exactly how their content will appear in the exported version.

These updates enhance the usability, formatting, and consistency of the CK Editor experience.

Autosave and Enhanced Usability in the Policy Editor

Also, the new Autosave feature makes it easier for users to make required policy changes. The "Autosave" function prevents the accidental loss of changes made by the user. Watch the video to see how it works.
