Integrate NinjaOne for richer device insights and smarter access reviews

What is it?

We’ve launched a new integration with NinjaOne. With this integration, you can now automatically import device-level insights—like OS version, encryption, antivirus status, and last activity—from NinjaOne into Scrut. It also enhances your Access Reviews by mapping users to their associated devices, roles, and MFA status.

Why does it matter?

Maintaining visibility into endpoint compliance and user access is often fragmented across tools. This integration helps you eliminate manual evidence collection, automatically sync device insights, and map users to their associated devices so you can conduct accurate, contextual access reviews.

How it works:

• Navigate to the Integrations Library and find NinjaOne under Mobile Device Management Tools. Click on Integrate.

  

• Create an OAuth app on NinjaOne and share the credentials with Scrut. To connect, customers must create an OAuth app in NinjaOne and share:

  • Client ID

  • Client Secret

  • Region (via the new domain selector dropdown)

  

• Click Submit to connect your account.

• Once set up, Scrut automatically pulls device metadata and user mappings from NinjaOne. This information is synced into:

  • Access Review Module (People, roles, MFA status, device association)

  • Evidence tasks (device OS, encryption, antivirus, activity)
