What is Law 25?

Law 25, also known as the “Act to Modernize Legislative Provisions Respecting the Protection of Personal Information,” is an updated privacy law of Quebec, Canada. It focuses on strengthening the protection of personal data, requiring organizations to comply with enhanced transparency, accountability, and consent requirements for processing personal information.
