Linear Integration
What is this feature?
We are excited to announce a new integration feature that enhances your task management efficiency within the Scrut platform. With the Linear integration, you can now seamlessly raise tickets and manage compliance-related tasks right from the Actions button available in the Policy, Test, and Evidence task modules.
How does it work?
Navigate to Settings. Go to Integrations. Then go to Linear and click on 'Integrate'.
Click on 'Connect'.
Log in to Linear by using the linear credential or using SSO
Click on 'Authorize Scrut Automation'.
Once the authorization is completed, Linear will be successfully integrated with the Scrut platform.
To configure additional fields for the Linear integration, simply click the 'Configure Additional Fields' button located in the top right corner.
You will get a pop-up box where you can configure additional fields. Simply switch on the fields you need, and then click 'Save'.
Creating a Linear Issue from Scrut:
Users can create Linear issues in the modules such as Evidence Task, Policy, and Tests by clicking on the 'Action' button located on the right side.
In the dropdown menu that appears, click on 'Create Linear Issue', and a modal will pop up to enter the required details to create an issue.
Once the issue is successfully created, a banner will pop up stating that "Linear Issue created Successfully" and a comment will be added.
