Manage policy version accuracy with sync control in Trust Vault and Corrective Action
What's new?
The policy attachment behavior in the Trust Vault and Corrective Action modules has been standardized to facilitate resyncs and reduce manual uploads. Trust Vault now attaches only published policies as PDFs with explicit sync control, while Corrective Action supports policies in multiple states.
Why was this needed?
Previously, policies drafted in the inline editor were attached as HTML files, and Trust Vault users couldn't sync the latest policy version. Automatic updates could share unintended policy versions with end users. The new behavior ensures only approved and intentional policy versions are shared, with consistent attachment handling across modules.
How it works
Trust Vault:
Attach only published policies
Policies are attached as PDFs instead of HTML files
When a new policy version is published, preview and sync the updated version
Policy updates reflect in the Trust Vault only after explicit synchronization
Corrective Action:
Attach policies in Draft, Approval in Progress, Approved, Published, and Needs Review states
Re-syncing is not available for Corrective Action
Use improved filtering when selecting existing documents
See a clearer distinction between policy and vault documents
