Microsoft Teams Integration

What is this feature?

Microsoft Teams integration delivers real-time notifications directly within your Teams environment, keeping you up-to-date on critical evidence-related activities.

Getting started is easy

1. Search for "Scrut" in the Microsoft app store.

2. Install the Scrut app in your Teams environment.

3. Enable Microsoft Teams Integration in the Scrut platform by going to 'Settings' and then to 'Integrations.'

Note: If you are not an admin in the Scrut platform, then contact your administrator.

Notifications you can expect

The Scrut app for Microsoft Teams delivers a variety of notifications to keep you informed:

• Assignment Notifications:

  • Get alerted whenever a teammate assigns you evidence.

  • See the evidence name and click a link to access it directly within Teams.

  • Receive bulk assignment notifications as well.

• Comment Notifications:

  • Be notified when a comment is added to any evidence you're assigned to.

  • The notification highlights the evidence name and includes a link to jump right into the conversation within Teams.

  • (Optional) Stay informed when you're tagged in a comment within the evidence.

• Review Reminders:

  • Receive a reminder within Teams 7 days before an evidence review deadline.

  • The notification lists the relevant evidence and includes a link to access the Evidence.
