Multiple Assignee - Risk
We are excited to introduce a significant enhancement to our Risk Management Module that will empower your team to collaborate effectively on risk management. With this new feature, you can now assign multiple assignees to each risk, streamlining your risk management processes and fostering teamwork. Here's a breakdown of what's new:
Key Features and Functionality
Assign Multiple Assignees
When creating a new risk in the Risk Management Module, you can now assign multiple assignees. The first assignee you add will automatically become the primary assignee, while any subsequent assignees will be considered other assignees.
Swap Primary and Other Assignees
Users have the flexibility to swap the primary and other assignees as needed, giving you full control over risk ownership.
Email Notifications to Multiple Assignees
When a risk is assigned to multiple assignees, a consolidated email notification will be sent, ensuring that all recipients/assignees are well-informed.
Migration of Existing Risks
To ensure a seamless transition, we will automatically designate the existing owners of risks as the primary assignee.
Name Change: From "Owner" to "Assignee"
In line with this enhancement, we have made the following updates:
When creating a risk manually, the term "Owner" has been changed to "Assignee" for clarity and consistency.
In the bulk import template for risks, we have also updated "Owner" to "Assignee" to reflect this change.
How does it work?
Navigate to the "Risk Management" Module.
Create a new risk by clicking the 'Create Risk' button at the top right and selecting 'Add Manually'.
In the enhanced risk module, you'll now have the option to add multiple assignees. The first assignee you add will be the primary assignee.
After creating the risk, check the created risk, and you'll see that the first assignee is marked as the primary, while the others are listed as secondary assignees.
To include more assignees, simply click on the 'Add Assignee' option under the "Others" section.
A pop-up window titled 'Add Assignee' will appear, allowing you to easily choose assignees from the dropdown menu.
To designate a new primary assignee, simply click 'Mark as Primary' next to the desired assignee and click 'Save'.
Whenever a risk is assigned to anyone, email notifications will be sent to all assignees, ensuring everyone stays informed and aligned.
When bulk importing risks, you can specify multiple assignees by entering their email addresses separated by commas in the risk template (e.g., "xyz@scrut.io, abc@scrut.io").
