Never miss a payment with the new Billing section

What's new?

We've added a Billing section within the Settings module. Admins (and Contributors with access to settings) can now view outstanding invoices and payment history and receive timely alerts for overdue payments directly within Scrut.

Why it matters

You can now view your past payment history and upcoming invoices without needing to contact your CSM or account manager. This helps you pay your bills on time and avoid service disruptions.

How it works

• Go to Settings → Billing to view your current invoices and past payment history.

• Overdue alerts:

  • Banner (visible to Admins/authorized Contributors) appears 1 day past due.

  • Pop-ups show at 45+ days overdue (visible to all roles with access).

  • Recurring pop-ups appear every few minutes at 55+ days overdue (can be dismissed).

• Export restrictions: All data exports are disabled at 1 day overdue.

• Auto-deactivation: After 60+ days of overdue status, the account is deactivated, and all users are logged out.

• RBAC support: Access is controlled via role-based permissions.

Important Note

• Existing invoices will appear immediately. Accounts already 60+ days overdue will be auto-deactivated once the feature is rolled out.
