What’s new?

Scrut now supports Cyber Essentials v3.2, the latest version of the UK’s baseline cybersecurity framework, with all controls mapped and ready to use.

Why it matters

Cyber Essentials is critical for UK government contracts and protecting against everyday cyber threats. Version 3.2 includes updated requirements for MFA, cloud services, BYOD, and home working, reflecting today’s cloud-first, hybrid work reality.

How it works

With Cyber Essentials v3.2 now available in the Scrut Frameworks module, customers can:

  • Add Cyber Essentials v3.2 to your active frameworks

  • View mapped controls and link them to your existing policies and evidence

  • Assign control owners and track compliance in real time

  • Use cross-mappings with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS to reduce duplication

  • Export detailed readiness reports for certification or internal audits
