New framework: NEN 7510 for Dutch healthcare now available in Scrut
What's new?
Scrut now supports the NEN 7510 framework, the premier Dutch standard for information security within the healthcare sector. The framework is fully translated and mapped, covering specialized controls for patient data protection, access logging, and confidentiality. NEN 7510 builds on ISO/IEC 27001 with additional requirements designed to safeguard Personal Health Information (PHI).
Why was this needed?
For organizations operating in or providing services to the Dutch healthcare market, NEN 7510 compliance is often a regulatory requirement. Without a centralized framework, teams had to manage these requirements manually across disparate tools, making it difficult to demonstrate readiness to auditors or healthcare stakeholders. With NEN 7510 in Scrut, you can now manage Dutch healthcare compliance in the same place as all your other frameworks, without building the structure from scratch.
How it works
Access the NEN 7510 framework from the Frameworks module.
Review the fully translated requirements presented in a clear, localized format.
Assign control owners and track implementation status for healthcare-specific controls, including those covering patient data access, logging, and confidentiality.
Connect requirements to your policies, evidence, and risk management processes in one centralized location.
Generate compliance reports to demonstrate readiness to Dutch healthcare stakeholders and auditors.
