Now available: API endpoint visibility in Scrut Monitor reports

What's new?

Scrut Monitor reports now include the exact API endpoints used to fetch data for each report, along with links to their documentation. This gives auditors and other stakeholders reviewing the report a direct, verifiable path to the data source.

Why was this needed?

Auditors and reviewers need a way to independently verify that evidence report data is accurate and fetched from the correct sources. Without visibility into which API endpoints were used, verifying data origin required reaching out to your team or relying on trust. By adding this information directly within the report, you can now point auditors to the source data with no additional effort, making audits faster and more defensible.

How it works

  • Navigate to Compliance -> Evidence Tasks and open any evidence to download a Scrut Monitor report as you normally would.

  • Review the API endpoint information included in the report, which specifies the exact endpoint used to retrieve each data point.

  • Share the report with auditors, or use the endpoint documentation links to independently verify that the data matches the source API's return value.
