Numeric in Risk Formula
What is this feature?
We're thrilled to introduce an enhancement to the Risk Management module that allows users to include numeric values in their risk score formulas. This feature empowers you to configure risk scores using formulas that involve numerical constants. Few examples:
(Impact * Likelihood) / 5
(Confidentiality Integrity Availability) / 2.5 - even decimals are supported
Why does it matter?
Until now, the system did not support the inclusion of numeric values in the risk score formula. With this update, you can create more versatile and precise risk score calculations to better align with your organization's risk assessment needs.
How does it work?
Navigate to the Risk Management Module.
Click on the Ssettings' icon located at the top right corner of the module interface.
Toggle to the 'Score' tab and click the 'Add Score' button to create a new risk score formula.
In the 'Add New Score' pop-up window, you can now effortlessly incorporate numeric values into your risk score formula. The system will instantly validate the formula for correctness; once verified, simply click "Save" to proceed.
Example 1: (Impact * Likelihood) / 5
Example 2: (Confidentiality * Integrity * Availability) / 2.5
The newly created score will appear below the 'Score' tab.
With this feature, you have the flexibility to create more sophisticated risk score formulas, incorporating numerical constants as needed. This enhancement enhances the precision and versatility of risk assessment within the Scrut Automation platform, providing you with a more comprehensive risk management toolset.
