Power operator in the risk formula
We are pleased to introduce a significant improvement to the Risk Management module - the Power Operator in Risk Formula. This feature allows you to create more complex risk formulas
Use cases
Power Operator Integration: The primary focus of this update is the addition of the power operator (^) while creating a Risk Formula. This allows you to raise a given value to a specific exponent, empowering you to construct risk formulas more precisely. For example, you can write
(Impact * Likelihood)^0.5
to calculate the square root of theImpact * Likelihood
.Enhanced Flexibility: With the Power Operator, you can now create risk formulas that better match your specific requirements. Whether it's calculating square roots, cube roots, or any custom exponentiation, this feature offers unparalleled flexibility.
How to Use the Power Operator
From the left navigation menu, click 'Risk Management'.
Click the 'Settings' icon.
Select the 'Score' tab.
Click on 'Add Score' and fill in the details.
Adding the Power Operator: Insert the caret (^) symbol in the formula where you want to apply exponentiation. For example, you can write
(Impact * Likelihood)^0.5
to calculate the square root of theImpact * Likelihood

Enter your Score Range.
Click 'Save' to save the score details you entered above.
