Preventing Notification Overload for Policy Approvals

What is the enhancement?

To improve the approval workflow and reduce unnecessary notifications, we’ve added a cooldown period for the 'Notify Approver' button. Previously, assignees could repeatedly send approval reminders, leading to excessive notifications that disrupted the approver’s workflow.

With this update, after an assignee sends a notification, the 'Notify Approver' button will be temporarily disabled for three hours to prevent spamming. During this cooldown period, the button will appear greyed out and non-clickable.
