Prioritize work faster with Effort Estimates on tests, policies, and evidence
What's new?
Tests, policies, and evidence tasks now display effort estimates (High, Medium, or Low) in a new column across your compliance modules. These estimates reflect the expected complexity, time required, and cross-functional collaboration needed to complete each task, helping you prioritize work and plan resources more effectively.
Why was this needed?
As you work towards your compliance certification, you need to complete multiple tasks across different modules. Often, there is limited visibility into the effort required to perform these tasks. As a result, teams waste time deciding what to tackle first.
Effort estimates let you instantly identify quick wins versus complex implementations, enabling smarter prioritization and better resource allocation. Focus on high-impact work while clearing low-effort tasks efficiently.
How it works
View effort estimates (High, Medium, Low) in the new column for tests, policies, and evidence tasks
Sort or filter by effort tags to identify tasks by complexity and time investment
Adjust effort estimates for individual items by clicking into the artifact and editing the Effort Estimate field
Bulk edit effort estimates by selecting multiple items and updating them simultaneously
Add effort estimates when creating new evidence or policies
Note: Effort tags are currently assigned by default only to select frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA.
